Great Egg Hunt 2008 Winner
The Great Egg Hunt was held this year on March 15th, the earliest it has ever been held (always the Saturday before Easter). The day was cold and damp but that didn't keep the happy hunters from coming. There was a great turnout and plenty of happy kids!
The Grand Prize Winner this year was Jason Swain from Hudson, MA. Director Barbara Frederick and staff member Brigitte Nolin watched Jason from the office window as he approached the grand prize egg (had a Grand Prize sticker on it). The egg was well hidden in a crack of a stone wall. With much anticipation and fingers crossed, they watched and held there breath hoping that Jason was going to find the egg. He finally saw it and picked it up. From the inside of the building you could here clapping and yelling (he found it!!) coming from the office! Congratulations Jason (won a large duck and a beautiful psanky egg decorated in Poland).
